Rent a wood-fired sauna in the Hågadalen nature reserve!

Hågaby Forest Sauna is a wood-fired sauna that you can rent in the Hågadalen Nature Reserve. The sauna is located on a small rocky hill surrounded by birch forest, just 200 meters from the bus stop “Hågagård”. The sauna fits a maximum of 10 people, but 6–8 people sit comfortably inside. The address is Hågavägen 43, 752 63 Uppsala, and you enter via the small gravel road next to the plant sales table. Important: Essential oils or similar fragrance additives are not permitted in this sauna.

What’s included?
When you rent the sauna, firewood is included (large logs, kindling, newspaper, and matches), as well as an extra bag of wood. You can also borrow towels if you forget your own. There is a simple outdoor shower next to the sauna where you can wash yourself (you cannot shower inside the sauna). Outside the sauna there is also a cold-plunge tub that can be filled with water if you enjoy cold baths.

The changing room
The changing room is a perfect place to take a break from the heat and hang out with friends. It is furnished with a two-seat sofa, four folding chairs, a drop-leaf table, and a small kitchenette. There is also a mini-shop where you can buy Loka, Coca-Cola, Trocadero, and chips.

For an extra fee, two people can also spend the night here on mattresses on the floor.

After you book, we will contact you by email. Payment is made via Swish, cash, or invoice. In most cases, we require the booking to be confirmed by paying the fee in advance (Swish is easiest). If you wish to book the same day, we recommend sending an SMS with your request: 0046 735 602 065
PRICES:
Renting the sauna costs 125 SEK per adult and 50 SEK per child (under 15). However, we have minimum prices (see below), meaning the lowest amount you pay for different time slots on different days.
We also charge 100 SEK to fill the cold-plunge tub, as it requires some work. You can pay with swish, cash, revolut or IBAN bank transfer.
Weekdays (Monday–Thursday):
3 hours: 500 SEK (start at 9, 12, 15, or 18).
When you rent the sauna at 18:00, you may use it until 22:00 (Monday–Thursday).
6 hours: 700 SEK (start at 12 or 18)
Overnight stay (max 2 people): 500 SEK/person
Friday, Saturday, Sunday (and public holidays):
3 hours: 500 SEK (start at 9, 12, 15, 18, or 21)
6 hours: 800 SEK (start at 12 or 18)
Overnight stay (max 2 people): 750 SEK/person
Price example (3-hour sauna):
1 person = 500 SEK, 2 persons = 500 SEK, 3 ppl = 500 SEK, 4 ppl = 500 SEK, 5 ppl = 625 SEK, 6 ppl = 750 SEK, 7 ppl = 875 SEK, 8 ppl = 1,000 SEK.
We also need to know in advance if you want the cold-plunge tub filled.
