Rent a wood-fired sauna in the Hågadalen nature reserve!

Hågaby Forest Sauna is a wood-fired sauna that you can rent in the Hågadalen Nature Reserve. The sauna is located on a small rocky hill surrounded by birch forest, just 200 meters from the bus stop “Hågagård”. The sauna fits a maximum of 10 people, but 6–8 people sit comfortably inside. The address is Hågavägen 43, 752 63 Uppsala, and you enter via the small gravel road next to the plant sales table. Important: Essential oils or similar fragrance additives are not permitted in this sauna.

What’s included?
When you rent the sauna, firewood is included (large logs, kindling, newspaper, and matches), as well as an extra bag of wood. You can also borrow towels if you forget your own. There is a simple outdoor shower next to the sauna where you can wash yourself (you cannot shower inside the sauna). Outside the sauna there is also a cold-plunge tub that can be filled with water if you enjoy cold baths.

The changing room
The changing room is a perfect place to take a break from the heat and hang out with friends. It is furnished with a two-seat sofa, four folding chairs, a drop-leaf table, and a small kitchenette. There is also a mini-shop where you can buy Loka, Coca-Cola, Trocadero, and chips.

If you wish to book the same day, we recommend sending an SMS with your request: 0046 735 602 065. PRICES:
Renting the sauna costs SEK 150 per adult (SEK 125 for students) and SEK 75 per child under 15. We have minimum prices, which means that there is a minimum amount you pay for the sauna depending on the time and day of your booking. On weekdays, we also offer a special discounted rate. You can pay by Swish, cash, Revolut or IBAN bank transfer. It costs an additional SEK 100 to have the cold plunge tub filled, as preparing and filling it takes some extra work.

3 hours: minimum SEK 600 (SEK 500 for students)
Start times: 9:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00 or 21:00

Weekday discount!
On weekdays, Monday–Friday (excluding public holidays and the Christmas holidays), for the 9 AM–12 PM and 12–3 PM time slots, we have a minimum price of SEK 400 for a 3-hour sauna session (equivalent to SEK 100 per person).
Please also let us know in advance if you would like the cold plunge tub to be filled.
